Not My Seed But My Soil

Amy and I did not make our kids; we adopted them.  They are not from us, but they are now with us.  They are not our seed, but we now provide the soil in which they grow.  We love them dearly and take this soil-provision role very seriously.  Indeed, it is the most important thing we will do in our lives.  O God, help our babies to grow, and help us as their parents to give them all we can so that they grow.
