The Cold Caught Me
I knew it was just a matter of time: pressure at work, not enough sleep, not nearly enough down time, and, most notably, two kids coughing on me constantly for the past two weeks. Those two kids would be my kids, and that coughing would be of the "we're sick" variety. I actually felt a tingle in my throat last week and then it went away, leading me to erroneously believe I had somehow avoided getting sick. Alas, it was not to be; the cold caught me.
