500+ years ago, Christopher Columbus set sail for
India and found
America.
Today, we have Google Maps to get us from Point A to Point B.
Another good thing about the Internet is the massive amounts of information that are available there.
As prospective adopters, my wife and I have been able to find pictures, itineraries, and other musings from people who have just returned from
China.
Through their stories, we are getting a better picture of how to best prepare for the trip and what to expect as we get to know our daughter.
The journey will still be almost as much of a wild and unpredictable adventure as
Columbus’, but at least it isn’t a total unknown, thanks to those who have gone before us and have posted what they’ve seen and learned online.
