Usual morning, and today's afternoon activity was hiking with an old friend of mine and his family. The kids enjoyed puttering along the trail, playing in an old tree stump, and petting the farm animals at the end of the hike. It was nice for the kids to be occupied enough for the grown-ups to catch up. Between adult conversation and beautiful scenery, it was a very relaxing way to spend a day.
