A typical morning: Asher waking us up early, breakfast, Y, naps. Actually, not much of a nap: Asher fell asleep on the way home from the Y and didn't go back to sleep once we got back to the hotel. Of course, he fell asleep in the car on our way to my brother-in-law's parents' house, where we caught up some more with him and my sister. Eventually, Asher woke up, and it was fun to see all the cousins playing together. From there, we drove further north to see an old high school friend of mine who lives in Orinda. What a nice treat it was to meet her husband, kids, and parents, and we were greatly refreshed by everyone's warmth and hospitality. It was a longer car ride home but we made it back for game shows and dinner.
