Christmas means the annual Huang family trip to California.  We had
done presents on Christmas Eve, so the kids spent Christmas morning
playing with toys while the grown-ups made final travel preparations.
Asher didn't sleep during his nap time, which did not augur well for the
rest of our day.  Sure enough, he was bouncing off the walls (more
figuratively than literally) on the flight, with our nerves retained
only by the heroic efforts of several very kind flight attendants.
Other highlights from our travel day were: getting retained at security
because of baby food pouches (and then having the trainee mess up the
test, requiring the supervisor to come and yell at her and retest the
pouches, at which point we were so delayed that we literally had to run
to the gate and made the flight with about two minutes to spare(whew!)),
loading all our people and stuff into the rental car only to find that
we couldn't locate the car keys and had to unload and reload into a car
that had keys (argh!), and arriving at our hotel and realizing the room
was a lot bigger than we thought (yay!).  No supermarkets were open on
Christmas evening, except for a big Chinese grocery story that we hit on
the way to the hotel, with about 30 minutes to spare before it closed,
so we were able to commandeer some fruit, milk, and pastries for
everyone's rumbly tummies.  We finally got everyone to bed around 10 (of
course our bodies think it is 1 in the morning, which is way late for
us).73-91 born SEA lived SJC 00 married (Amy) home (UCity) 05 Jada (PRC) 07 Aaron (ROC) 15 Asher (OKC) | 91-95 BS Wharton (Acctg Mgmt) 04-06 MPA Fels (EconDev PubFnc) 12-19 Prof GAFL517 (Fels) | 95-05 EVP Enterprise Ctr 06-12 Dir Econsult Corp 13- Principal Econsult Solns 18-21 Phila Schl Board 19- Owner Lee A Huang Rentals LLC | Bds/Adv: Asian Chamber, Penn Weitzman, PIDC, UPA, YMCA | Mmbr: Brit Amer Proj, James Brister Society
