West Coast Swing, Day 2

Another beautiful and fun day in Seattle.  Without Asher, it was a luxury to just be able to go to the Y and do my workout at a leisurely pace.  We then scored a breakfast spot not far from our hotel before making a long trek to Space Needle to take in the 360-degree views plus visit the Museum of Pop Culture and Chihuly Garden & Glass.

We then rode the monorail and the light rail to the campus of the University of Washington.  I delighted in telling Aaron and Jada that just like Asher putters around the Penn campus and they did the same when they were his age, so did I putter around the UW campus when I was 2 and 3.  I don't remember any of it except through pictures, and it is still a pretty campus.

My cousin's husband picked us up from the bookstore and took us to their lake beach club where we met up with their family, another cousin and her family, and my aunt and uncle.  It was a beautiful day to splash around in the lake, watch all the kid cousins run around, and (because we're Taiwanese) eat a lot of good food.  We'll have to return to more fully enjoy all the sights, but we have to go now.
