West Coast Swing, Day 1

Just two days after returning from our family vacation, I took the older two kids to the West Coast.  We took an early morning flight to Seattle and were picked up at the airport by an old high school friend of mine, who took us and his family to Pike Place Market for the quintessential Seattle experience.  We basically ate our way through the public market and had a great time catching up and reminiscing.  We hitched a ride to our hotel, dropped our stuff off, and made our way to the waterfront area, where we hit the aquarium and then took a relaxing one-hour boat tour.  We then met up with a college buddy of mine and his wife over fish and chips (Ivar's!) and ice cream, before making the trek back to the hotel.  What a wonderful first day of West Coast vacation!
