New Bed, New Bedroom

My father-in-law and I spent a good chunk of our Saturday last weekend assembling Aaron's new loft bed.  Aaron helped by holding things steady and handing me screws.  Later this month, we'll move him into his new bedroom, which is to say his old bedroom, when he was still in a crib and before he started bunking with Jada. 

I think both of them are excited for the move - Aaron to enjoy his new bed (and Spiderman sheets!) and Jada to have some privacy.  We'll see if they sleep better or still chatter at night.

PS We went loft because Aaron's room is so small.  We probably won't put a desk underneath like in the picture - desks will go out in the open area - but maybe a dresser and bean bag chair and lamp or something.
