First Day of Second Grade

With the first day of second grade came the first signs of a young woman breaking away from her parents and becoming her own person.  I thought it was obvious that I would drop off Aaron and then come back to wait in the courtyard with Jada, but she was loudly complaining about not being able to just be dropped off so she could play with her friends. We compromised by dropping off Aaron first but then having me skeedoodle not long after we arrived at her school.  But, of course, not before snapping some pics.  My baby's growing up in front of our eyes.
