It's been a hard month for Aaron going from being BMOC at his old school to being the newbie at his new school. Plus this past weekend required adjusting to the new routine of having soccer practice on Saturday mornings.
Transitions are tough for the little guy, especially when they involve him not getting as many positive strokes and having to adjust to new settings, new rules, and new people. So there has been more moping and more tears, as is evident at the end of this video from a barbecue we went to out in the burbs where our friends live.
Usually, it doesn't take long for Aaron to acclimate, so while the acclimating can mean some tantrums, the pain is fleeting. Here's hoping that's the case in all of his new surroundings.
