Jada impressed, as well, running the whole time save for a three-second stretch at about the 1/4-mile mark. Not only so, but she had good form and finished with gusto. Afterwards, we barbecued and relaxed. What a nice time together we all had.

Run Fun
Jada's school hosted a 5-K and 1-mile fundraiser yesterday. Amy and her brother signed up for the 5-K, while I signed myself and Jada up for the mile. It was a great morning for a run, overcast and cool. After we cheered Amy and Matt at the commencement of the 5-K, I took Jada, Aaron, my sister-in-law, and her son to a good spot on the course to cheer them on. Soon enough, they were tearing towards us and headed for the finish line. Amy ended up finishing third in her age group (30-39 women), while Matt finished second in his age group (30-39 men).
