Not a Morning Person
Aaron, Aaron, Aaron . . . if anyone could be described as waking up on the wrong side of the bed, it is you. The boy . . . where do I start? Some days, he starts with the siren that is his whining. Other days, he is as chipper as chipper can be, only to melt down suddenly and without provocation.
Every day this week, we have had a confrontation, despite my every effort to be as accommodating as possible to his morning grouchiness. It is almost as if he is picking a fight because he simply has to have a tantrum, and is practically begging for gasoline to pour on his fire.
Amy is far more sympathetic than I am, mostly because she is also not a morning person. Jada and I are wired similarly, so we are in sync in the mornings. We've all learned to steer wide of grouchy boy when he's hot.
