Jada Has a Conscience
Amy and I are singing Jada's praises for something she did this weekend. We were eating lunch when, while both our heads were turned, one of Aaron's toys ended up in his ketchup. I immediately scolded Aaron for having his toy at the table, and snatched the toy away and threw it in the sink to be washed. Jada had a guilty look on her face, and looked at me and said, "Can I say sorry to Aaron?" When I nodded, she said, "Sorry, Aaron, for putting your toy in the ketchup." We immediately commended her for her honesty and willingness to fess up. It's good to see she has a conscience, to not want to let her little brother take the fall for her mistake.
