Fussing His Way Around the City

It was a long week for Amy last week, so when Saturday morning arrived, I decided to take the kids on one of our patented downtown excursions. What resulted was Aaron throwing a tantrum in some of Philly's most frequented tourist destinations. He warmed up by shrieking our entire subway ride from West Philadephia to 2nd and Market, and then howled on Independence Mall, cried his way through Washington Square, threw his jacket on the ground at Reading Terminal Market, almost fell down the stairs at the Comcast Center, and wrapped up the morning by stomping his hands and feet at an art gallery on the Penn campus. By the time we rolled in to our house for lunch, an entire city's worth of residents and tourists had seen and heard our little boy.
