Chatterbox

Even though she remains pretty far behind on the verbals, our little
Jada has made a commendable amount of progress this year. Why,
earlier this year, she was practically mute, on account of her limited
comprehension and vocabulary. But lately, she's felt more comfortable
jabbering away. It's still mostly rehearsed stuff that she likes to
say over and over again; but every so often, she'll gab about
something new, using a new word or set of words. Importantly, she's
more comfortable trying out new combinations of words; even though
more often than not they're wrong, it makes me feel good that she's
not afraid to try. Here's hoping for more progress as our little
chatterbox does her daily trial and error on all the new things she
wants to say.
