Jada's bedtime dramas have abated significantly lately, much to our delight. It seems she's getting used to our new routine; I love how earnest she is when she says, "Mama and Dada go work, Aaron and Jada go school." So when bedtime rolls around, there's far less anxiety. Even when she wants one of us in particular to read bedtime stories and that person isn't available, she eventually deals. And when I'm doing bedtime, I've convinced her that three books is our limit. (I've even kept her away from Goodnight Moon, which can take forever to read the way she wants it read.)
