Parents, if you're looking for a good instruction manual for raising
your kids, have I got a DVD for you: The Cosby Show. Amy and I love
how Cliff and Claire parent - firm, thoughtful, and, of course,
humorous. We realize that as Jada grows up, she will have her Rudy
phase, her Vanessa phase, her Denise phase, and her Sandra phase. And
now we have some ammo, courtesy of the Huxtables, as to how to deal
with her in each of those phases. (We're also taking notes on Theo to
apply to Aaron.)
