Class of 2027

 

For years, Jada's college aspirations have been to go "off" to school, the further the better. But for now, she'll literally be going down the street, as she has signed up to be part of Drexel University's Class of 2027. 

A transfer to an out-of-town school may still be in the offings down the road, so that she can have her desired experience of setting off far from home and creating space to grow up on her own. But for now we're doing all the incoming freshman stuff, with the benefit of not having to worry about long distances and travel plans.

Drexel is a great school, and I trust Jada's maturity to make the most of wherever she spends her formative undergraduate years, first there and potentially elsewhere. We support whatever she wants, though I must admit the proximity and easy logistics are awfully appealing. 

Near or far, our oldest is taking another big step into the world and we are beaming with pride and ready to cheer her on!
