One more month into school in person, the kids are hitting their groove. Asher is trying hard - with a lot of school staff people's help - to make up for the loss of the socialization you normally get in kindergarten. Aaron is learning the ropes as a new high school kid (including taking responsibility for setting his alarm and heading out the door way earlier than he's used to). And Jada is making new friends and reconnecting with others she hadn't seen in almost two years. Meanwhile, Amy and Lee are desperately trying to keep up with all of that - logistics, forms, and unanticipated schedule changes - while carrying heavy loads at work; free time and a clean house have been unfortunate casualties in response.
