Twenty years ago, on an auspicious day (9/9/99, and "nine" in Chinese
sounds like "forever"), I asked Amy to marry me. For the record, I'm glad my proposal was safely executed prior
to the modern social media era, since it wasn't the smoothest of deliveries. But no matter, the important thing is she said yes (to me, not to the dress), and we tied the knot the next April. Three kids and a million kisses later, she still loves me and I love her, which makes me a pretty lucky guy and 20 years ago today a pretty significant milestone!
