7 Straight Weeks of Camp Later

Aaron is finally home for more than 24 hours.  Seven weeks, three locations, countless memories.  After the year he had - isolation, struggles, uncertainty - what a wonderful blessing to be in nature, learning about God, making friends, having fun.

As a plus, he quickly pivoted from camper to worker, because friends of his who he'd met through the years had signed up for work crew and he wanted to be with them.  They had gone from being among the youngest kids to being among the oldest, and with that came a desire to have a little more autonomy, be with other kids their age, and make a few bucks.

We're glad he had such a good time along the way.  But we're glad to have him home.  We missed him!  And now we have to recalibrate our grocery shopping and meal prep to accommodate a fifth belly, especially he's become a big strapping young man.
