Xmas in Cali, Day 3
After a regular bedtime the night before, Asher decided to wake up at 4ish. It was a struggle to keep him contained until breakfast started, but once that arrived the rest of our morning routine (breakfast, Y, naps) went fine. In fact, because of all the craziness of the past couple of days, Asher ended up taking a very long nap, which served as a sort of reset for him, as he emerged much less crabby as he had been. We went to a nearby park to meet up with three high school friends of mine and their families. It was delightful to catch up, reminisce, and watch the kids play together. Once again, we retired to the hotel for early dinner and game shows.
