Aaron wasn't slated to do his first swim meet until January but a spot opened up for a mini-meet of 6, 7, and 8 year olds so off we went to Penn Charter yesterday afternoon. He competed in the 25 free, 50 free, 25 back, and 25 breast. It was a long day but fun to watch him compete. He needs to work on his dive in (still going in feet first instead of jumping forward) and his turns (he knows how to do it but is slow), but the swimming itself looks good. He had fun and said he wasn't nervous. So, good to get the first meet in the books. Good job, Aaron!
