Last weekend brought not one and not two but three separate baseball activities. First was Opening Day and then was two games, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
With the pitching machine, there wasn't much on-field action (i.e. a lot of strikeouts), but Aaron didn't do too bad in the field and he actually hit the ball twice out of three at-bats (both led to ground-outs, so we're still in search of his first hit).
His team won 1-0 and lost 3-2, so, just like in life, you win some and you lose some. Between dad-son catches, the camaraderie of teammates, and the fanfare of it, Aaron was in seventh heaven. Good times all around.
