Final Report Card of the School Year

Last Friday was the kids' last day of school.  Jada cried when she said goodbye to her teacher; they have a special relationship, as she continues to have with her kindergarten and 1st grade teachers.  Aaron helped his teacher clean her room up and got a prize for it; we're very thankful for all he's learned from her.

They got their last quarterly report card of the school year on that day.  Jada got all A's except for a B in writing, so for the four quarters she got all A's except for a B in writing in the first and fourth quarter.  Aaron got all S's (Satisfactory) in all his school categories except for an O (Outstanding) in math, as well as O's in all his behavior categories. 

Bring on the summer!  And bring on 3rd grade and 1st grade!

PS Aaron is still fourth on the wait-list at Jada's school.  No kindergarteners have been reported as not staying for 1st grade in the fall, so we haven't moved up on the list.  It is very possible that four kids will not be returning in the fall, and it is very possible that we won't know until right before the school year or perhaps even once the school year has started.  So we'll just have to wait and see.
