The kids had hardly settled into their new equilibrium of having their own
bedrooms to themselves when these signs appeared on their bedroom
doors. Ah, the universal urge for privacy and separation. I am fine
with these rules; in fact, I will be enforcing them for the duration of
their time under our roof.
