Ouch: I J, K?
Amy and I are both strong "I" and "J" on the Myers-Briggs: introverted (rather than extroverted) and judging (rather than perceiving). Among other character traits, this means we draw energy from isolation rather than crowds, and need things tied up rather left loose. Which can make parenthood very draining: kids make alone time impossible but for small chunks, and there is never a sense of completion what with a never-ending list of to-do's. So we go from crazy work weeks into a whirlwind of a weekend that isn't any more restful. Calgon, take me away!
