Wow, another great weather day. This time, Granddad took Amy and Jada fishing. Jada determined that for the week, they had caught 17 fish in total: 10 by her, 5 by Aaron, and 2 by Granddad. (Amy wasn't allowed to catch any because we'd only bought a license for Granddad.)We had thought about renting a canoe but decided instead to spend the day at the pool again. The kids seemed to be flagging, but after a boost of ice cream from the snack shack in the afternoon, they rejuvenated themselves, and once again we had to drag them away from the water when it was time to go back to the house.
For dinner, we ordered pizza and finished up the voluminous amounts of food we had brought with us from home. Granddad went out and got us all ice cream, and then we put the kids to bed early and got to packing. Tomorrow we head home, sad for the end of vacation but full of happy memories.
