After several really busy weekends, followed by a week in California, followed by being sick, it was good to have a somewhat mellow Saturday and Sunday. I actually took a sick day on Friday - I felt the worst on Wednesday and Thursday but was still hurting on Friday and continued to cough and sneeze into the weekend - and used the solitary time at home to grade midterms and catch up on chores. That, plus Saturday and Sunday being devoid of any other commitments besides my usual standing commitments - class on Saturday morning and church on Sunday morning - left time for naps (plural!), reading, and bumming around in the house. It was a nice and necessary contrast to the racing around we've seen around here for the past two months or so.
