Sunday night was our new Children, Youth, and Family Director's first "Family Night" at our church. To make sure it was extra special, she brought in a secret weapon: her very artistic (and very patient) mother, who helped out with a very complicated craft, that of making journals. Believe it or not, this craft involved shaving cream, leather imprinting, and a riveter. At one point, I saw Jada working an electric drill, and had a moment of panic, until I saw how smoothly she worked it.
Anyway, it was a ton of fun, and all the kids loved the end product. We're all looking forward to the next Family Night next month.
