The ABC's of Children's Worship
There are probably five or six distinct times during a typical morning service at our church when we all sing, and the kids are upstairs with us (i.e. not downstairs in their Sunday school class) for most of them. Jada, ever drawing, just keeps on doing her thing, maybe every once in a while wanting to be held.
Aaron used to be the same. But this past Sunday, decided that if everyone else was singing, so would he. And the song he's taken great delight in singing lately has been the alphabet song. So here everyone else is, following along to a hymn or contemporary worship song, and our little boy is belting out his ABC's. Five or six times in one service, no less. Classic.
