Family Devotions Get More Interesting
A couple of new wrinkles to our family devotional times. First, Amy has decided she wants to teach the kids new worship songs, so we're going to sing a new song every few weeks so they can learn the words and melody. Second, the kids like to run down the hallway and then run back towards me and tackle me; Aaron likes to go twice, and Jada is OK with just going once, although that doesn't include her pulling me down from behind when Aaron is tearing at me the second time. I'll take the bruises because they're a small price to pay for having such a fun worship and bedtime moment together as a family. Who knew praising God and going to bed could be such raucous fun?
