Signs of Spring
It was cold the day before and cold the day after, but yesterday itself had a distinct spring feel to it. Temps pushed 70, Clark Park was packed, and even the flowers in front of our house (which Amy lamented would never do their thing) were starting to show their blooms. Everyone shed their outer layers and Aaron hiked his sweats up to above his knees. Even if a week late, spring appeared to have arrived.
Of course, not ten minutes after we arrived home from our church's evening supper, it started hailing pellets the size of gumballs. And this morning, it is under 40 degrees. But winter is yielding; spring is arriving.
