A Church That Eats Together
I have often joked that our church's spiritual gift is cooking for large amounts of people. It turns out we share a building with two other such congregations.
A Chinese group and an Ethiopian group share our space. And for the past three Sundays, we've all come together for Lenten suppers. Two weeks ago, the Chinese dazzled us with their dishes. Last week, we stepped up. And yesterday, it was the Ethiopian church's turn. (Notice in the video how Jada is pounding the injera bread.)
Good food, good fun, good meeting different people from different congregations and even from our own, and did I mention the food was good? We should do this again sometime soon.
