San Jose

We just got back from two weeks in San Jose with my parents. Tons of posts, with pics and videos, can be found below. For now, I'll see we're glad we went, and glad to be home. Being sick for most of the trip put a damper on things, but we still made it fun. I even got to all my Bay Area to-do's:

* Ride BART.
* Eat at In-N-Out Burger.
* Go for a run at Rancho San Antonio.
* See high school and college friends as well as family members.
* Visit my sister and brother-in-law in Merced.

I'm not sure when we'll be back next - Aaron turns two soon, so we'll have to buy four tickets from here on out. We're also thinking of doing a time besides the holidays, just to mix it up and also capitalize on some warm weather rather than always visiting when it's cold and raining (albeit much less cold than Philly.) But it's hard to break away from work for long enough to make a West Coast trip worth it. So we'll have to see.

For now, we have our memories, pictures, and videos to tide us over til next time. Having stayed in their house, eaten their food, driven their cars, and taken them up on their offers to watch our kids, we say a heartfelt thanks to Ama and Agong. See you again soon!
