After being out of town for ten days straight - our church retreat,
followed by our jaunt to the USVI - I knew the week was going to be a
slog to get through, between catching up on work stuff and catching up
on personal stuff. And it has been. But the kids have cooperated
grandly - Jada has been eating well and is generally well-behaved, and
while Aaron's been his usual fussy self, he's also slept long hours.
This has been of great relief to Amy and me, as we now have more time,
energy, and gray matter to power through our respective
responsibilities. Maybe there's a storm brewing with our kids, but
for now we'll enjoy the calm.
