Our family has a distinct greeting that has evolved over time from
"hey baby" to "hi bubba" to "ee baba." Jada especially likes to greet
us in this way. I always suspected this phrase meant something in
some other language. Sure enough, at yesterday's morning service, our
church's worship team taught us a new song in Swahili, called "Ee
Baba," which apparently means "O Father." Who knew?
