Clingy

It's quite clear that watching both kids is much harder on Amy than on
me. And that's because Jada tends to get pretty clingy with Amy when
Aaron's in the picture. She doesn't seem to exhibit the same behavior
with me. Certainly, Jada's difficulty in adjusting to Aaron is
related to her now having to share Amy with him. That makes him a
rival, in her mind, and woe be to Jada's rivals.

To compound matters, Aaron thinks the world of Jada. And so you have
a fast little boy who wants nothing than to scoot over to his big
sister or to his mother. And a possessive little girl who wants
neither. And a tired mother negotiating between the two.
