You may recall that Jada sustained her first injury on my watch, falling on a metal barbell and cutting her mouth while I was watching basketball on TV. It appears I've "blessed" our second child with the same initiation: while I was on the treadmill watching basketball, Aaron, while crawling around on the floor, teetered over and hit his head on the corner of the treadmill. He sustained a little welt on his forehead, and he cried and cried and cried some more, eventually waking up Amy, whose TLC was markedly more effective than mine in calming him down. Poor little guy!
