Like Mama

It's pretty neat to see how much Jada wants to be like Amy.  She picks up Amy's cell phone and jabbers away, she picks up Amy's knitting needle and tries to work them through the yarn, and she raps on our computer keyboard like Amy does.

This morning, I brought Jada down to the basement to play while I clipped coupons.  I turned around after a minute or so and saw her shuffling around the laundry detergent and fabric softener bottles, and opening the dryer door and trying to pour something in.  Just like Amy.

When I relayed this to Amy later that day, she smirked and said, "I'm glad I don't do any misbehaving in front of her!"  Indeed, having a little one imitating your every move certainly is one way to keep you honest.
