Halloween

I raced home early from work to take Jada on a Halloween parade at our local park. We met up with some of her friends and their parents, and I also saw some of my friends from church. The parade route took us past houses decorated cleverly in various Halloween themes, one of which was so scary to Jada that she pulled a "Scooby," clinging to me for dear life.

So after that, we went home and contented ourselves with doling out candy to trick-or-treaters. Of course, Jada had to personally inspect each piece of candy, some by sitting on them and others by putting them, wrapper and all, in her mouth. I'll look forward to when she's a tad older so we can go trick-or-treater, but all in all I'd say this Halloween was pretty darn fun.
