First Ice Cream

After keeping a tight lid on sweets, we decided to let Jada go hogwild on vacation. And by "hogwild," I mean samplings of three desserts in a one-week span. (Yes, this is what counts for "wild" in our life.)

First was funnel cake; after all, you can't go to the Boardwalk and not do the funnel cake. Second, and most anticipated, was her first ice cream, courtesy of Uncle Matt. This she liked immensely, even though it was certainly not ice cream eating weather. Third was a bit of carrot cake, which she didn't seem to care much for, engrossed as she was at the time in playing with her new toy truck.

So we're back from vacation and back to keeping the sweets to a minimum. Anyway, she doesn't seem to have much of a sweet tooth. But wheel some dim sum to the brink of her high chair, and look out!
