Last night, Jada climbed her first mini-flight of stairs. Our
staircase has a landing after four steps, and then it bends left and
goes up another ten or twelve steps. I was at the foot of the steps
with Jada, and Amy was at the landing. Jada tackled the first step,
wormed her way up it, and then needed Amy's help to get up the next
three steps to the landing. We brought her back down to the bottom,
and lo and behold, she got up all four steps on her own her second go
round! I literally burst into tears, I was so proud of her. The
effort was so strenuous for Jada that barely an hour later, she was
out cold for the night.
