As Always, the Star of the Show
As if Asher's sense that the world revolves around him wasn't engrained enough, our new bedtime routine is that when we read books, he tells me that he wants to be the main character. So I swap in his name for the main character's, and on each page he tells me what "he" is doing or how "he's is feeling. I think this is good for improving his cognition, but maybe not so good for managing his ego? I'm going to just run with it.
