Our last full day of vacation was probably our best. We hit the
monuments in the morning (MLK, Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean). I dropped Amy
off at Holocaust Museum and took the kids to National Zoo. We linked
back up and did 18 challenging holes of mini-golf at East Potomac Golf
Course. Since we did so much outdoor walking around on a humid
95-degree day, hitting the rooftop pool in the late afternoon hit the
spot. And then we walked to a nearby Buca di Beppo for the feast to end
all feasts. It was a good time for the family.
