1st Day of School Times 203,000 Plus One

Today is the first day of school for Philadelphia public schools.  Which means Jada and Aaron are off to 8th and 6th grade at Penn Alexander.  Meanwhile, I'm participating in a bell-ringing ceremony at Munoz-Marin Elementary School to kick off the school year for the School District of Philadelphia's 203,000 students.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, this is also Asher's first day of preschool.  He's attending a school in our neighborhood that Jada and Aaron both went to when they were his age.

It will be interesting to see how our King Asher deals with preschool.  I'm confident he's going to learn how to go potty, share with others, and master his ABC's.  We'll see...
