It was brutally cold last weekend. Why not do an outdoor activity...on ice? Ah, but Jada was dead-set on keeping her ice skating birthday party plans, and her friends were game too. So off we went into the tundra, me dutifully lugging waters and blankets while the girls frolicked at the rink. We stayed a short amount of time to be safe and quickly retired home (for ice cream, natch), but it was really cute to see Jada and her friends doing something fun together.
