Just got back last night from 4 days away...without the kids! I spoke at a conference in Orlando, and Amy and I decided to make it a weekend. To be honest, especially in a place like Orlando, half the time we actually pined for the kids to be with us, as a lot of the stuff we did would have been even funner if they had gotten to do it too. But it was awfully nice to have some adults-only freedom, too. I'm sure we'll be back to Orlando with kids someday. And I'm definitely sure we'll do another kids-free trip as well.
