Both our moms are dealing with serious health issues, so it was a heavy month that included a last-minute trip to California for Lee to see his mom and major medical research for Amy to help her mom.Jada performed in three events - she sang twice for Philadelphia Girls Choir and played the violin at her school's winter concert. Aaron competed in his first swim meet and met Mayor-elect Kenney at a bicycle giveaway. Amy and Lee luxuriated in an overnight mini-vacation without the kids at a downtown hotel.
Asher had his first trip to California and saw his grandparents for the first time. Traveling with an 8-month-old necessitates a far less ambitious itinerary to accommodate naps (both his, as well as his parents who were back to waking up in the middle of the night and so needed multiple midday winks), but we still had lots of fun, seeing Lee's sister's family and other local family/friends.
